Welcome to Colour Tumby Street Art Festival!
This year the town of Tumby Bay received a fresh coat of paint, as it welcomed its first official street art festival. Produced by Juddy Roller, the festival included a culmination of some of Australia’s best street artists. The already beautiful coastal town welcomed the artists and artwork with open arms, embracing the colourful change with much encouragement.
The participating artists included Adnate, Andrew Bourke, Dvate, George Rose, James Pedler, Kitt Bennett, Lisa King as well as Smug, who all painted murals across the town over the festival weekend. Martin Ron also painted a silo just prior to the even, which greets you at the town’s entrance.
The festival was also lucky enough to host the late Ronnie Bennett, who embodied the positive spirit of the festival as he walked from wall to wall, sharing his smiles and colourful anecdotes. Respect to you Ronnie, the festival won’t be the same without you there.
