Hilton Hotel

A finalist in the Victorian Premiers Design Awards, this project embodies Melbourne’s reputation for fine food and dining within a creative and thoughtfully designed space. A four-story entrance mural provides guests with a quintessentially Melbourne experience, which they will continue to encounter as they explore the hotel. A nine-story mural in the hotel’s internal lightwell enhances the view from every room, with the mural’s theme gracefully integrated into the hotel’s sophisticated executive lounge.

Care was taken to acknowledge and preserve the building’s rich architectural history, whilst giving a nod to Melbourne’s famous street art and laneway culture.

This project is an excellent example of how Urban Art can add a sophisticated edge to a highly considered and perfectly executed design narrative, seamlessly integrating Urban Art into the very fabric of the build itself.
